New job, new city

Since I made a pact with myself to post more about my work life, I figured I should update you all with the news that I now have a new job. After 5 years as the web designer for Minnesota Public Radio/American Public Media, I have now moved to Seattle to work as an editorial concepts producer for MSNBC.com. I am working with Rex and Jim and a bunch of other smart people to create the future of news and nebulous things like that.

  1. Wanted you to know see this message from Preston Wright about Budget Balancer III:

I wanted to share this with you and have you distribute to your groups. This is a Web recognition award. We sent in links to our queries (formbuilder), to our sign-up process, the budget balancer, and explained the whole process. This recognizes 4 years of development by IT, New Media, and PIJ and there are so many people who contributed to various processes that brought the public Web site to its current state.

Thank you and congrats to everyone.
